i feel this photo is a response to my photograph:
[link]

this photo also taken in zambia, africa.

although the oppression that binds the people is overwhelming, and influences their every day life, the people of zambia are flourishing in their own rites. community prosper on every block, and while they cannot be compared to the capatilist societies of north america or europe, these people are pursuing the opportuntiies in front of them.

i was amazed at the vigor of salesmenship in markets and town areas, and the people on the whole represent a very fair society, with little crime and a very solid foundation of values.

these positive trends can obviously be contrasted by an ultimate shortcoming of civilized modern living, but all places must be observed in context.

enjoy the photo.

these children laugh as any others would, and for that moment the world was perfect.
